Arsenal to make bid for Jean-Christophe Bahebeck?
Paris St Germain's young forward Jean-Christophe Bahebeck is a target for Arsenal in the January transfer window. The 21-year-old attacker is no longer needed by PSG and is allowed to leave for a fee of around 6.5 million euros.
The talented youngster has so far failed to oust the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani from PSG's first team and is now seeking a transfer elsewhere. Arsene Wenger is very impressed with Bahebeck's development over the past couple of seasons, as the versatile attacker has even recently been compared to Arsenal great Thierry Henry.
The French under-21 international has been scouted by numerous Premier League teams over the past couple of seasons and at one point Man Utd were believed to have tabled a bid fro the centre forward. The 6 foot striker is however a big fan of Arsenal and it is understood that the Gunners will open talks with PSG regarding a potential transfer over the next two weeks.
Arsenal are also in the market for a defensive midfielder and a backup centre back.
