Joel Campbell to stay at Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Costa Rica forward Joel Campbell will remain at the Emirates beyond the January transfer window.

Recent reports claimed that the talented winger could leave the Gunners in the new Year having found first-team chances hard to come by since the start of the season.

However, Wenger has insisted that the player will remain at the North London outfit in spite of interest from several clubs in Europe.

"Campbell will stay with us." Wenger simply said.

Campbell's current deal at Arsenal expires in June 2016.
