Liverpool line up offer for Fabian Delph

Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, according to The Mirror.

The England international's existing contract expires at the end of the season, and the Reds are considered favourites to secure his services next summer.

The Mirror reports that the Reds will seek to offer a new deal to skipper Steven Gerrard. In addition to this, the club consider Delph as a long-term replacement for the legendary midfielder.

Liverpool host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
