Injuries and Suspensions
Elano should return from a hamstring injury for the visit of Bolton, but midfielder Dietmar Hamann is back after being suspended, but on the other hand Stephen Ireland is set to miss out after being shown the red card in their 2-1 defeat against Spurs.

Man City have the only 100 percent home record this season, whilst Bolton have still not won away from home. Megson has had a mini revival for Bolton, but travelling to Eastlands has come at the wrong time. Home win.
