Manchester City in for Julian Draxler?

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is targeting a move for Schalke 04 midfield sensation Julian Draxler, The Star reports.

The German international has been associated with a switch to the Premier League in recent years, with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea interested in his services.

According to The Star, City have enquired on the availability of the talented midfielder during the winter transfer window.

The report adds that City could agree a player-plus-cash offer, with defender Matija Nastasic acting as make-weight in the deal.

Manchester City host Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup on Sunday.
