Lucas Leiva to Inter Milan?

Brazil international Lucas Leiva could be on the verge of a January exit from Liverpool, The Mirror reports.

Leiva has struggled to earn sufficient game-time at the Merseyside outfit in recent weeks, and this has led to speculation of his potential exit from the club in the New Year.

According to The Mirror, the Nerazzurri will present an offer of £7m for the talented midfielder in the current transfer window.

However, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is likely to reject the bid as it is well below the club's asking price for the 28-year-old.

Liverpool play away at Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday.
