Liverpool line up Higuain bid

Liverpool are considering a move for Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, The Express reports.

The Reds are on the search for a new striker during the winter transfer window following the dismal form of summer signing Mario Balotelli.

The Express reports that the Merseysiders could seal a deal for Higuain in January, with the Naples outfit under a minor financial crisis.

In addition to this, a fee of around £30m could be sufficient to secure the services of the talented Argentine striker.
