Liverpool to bid for Fabian Delph

Liverpool could make a January offer for Aston Villa's Fabian Delph as they seek a replacement for Steven Gerrard, The Mirror reports.
Gerrard has recently revealed that he would leave the Merseyside giants for a switch to Major League Soccer with LA Galaxy at the end of the current campaign.
According to The Mirror, the Reds are keen on filling the void that would be left by the legendary midfielder, and consider Delph as the perfect fit for the spot.
The report adds that the club will make a bid of around £7.5m to secure the services of the England international, whose existing contract at Villa expires at the end of the season.
