Gokhan Tore linked with Man Utd move

Manchester United have sent a scout to watch Besiktas winger Gokhan Tore. Reports from Turkey suggest that the Red Devils could make a £5 million move for the Turkish starlet.

The 22-year-old Turkish international spent his youth playing in Germany, and also had a spell on the books at Chelsea between 2009 and 2011. It is only this season that Tore has started to show the abilities that persuaded Besiktas' manager Slaven Bilic to bring him to the club on a permanent deal.

Van Gaal is looking to add at least one midfield player to his squad this month and Tore appears to be amongst the names on his transfer shortlist.

Tore has four and a half years remaining on his current deal.
