Francis Coquelin to sign new Arsenal deal?

French midfielder Francis Coquelin has been offered a new contract by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. Coquelin has made a remarkable return to the Gunners' first team in the past few weeks.

Arsenal's search for a new defensive midfielder has continued for over a year and amazingly the Gunners appear to have a candidate in their ranks already.

Coquelin spent time on loan at Charlton Athletic last season before being recalled and after a match winning performance alongside Santi Cazorla last weekend, Coquelin could now earn a brand new contract at the Emirates.
