Chelsea agree to pay release clause for 'STAR MIDFIELDER'
Chelsea have reportedly agreed to match the buy-out clause for one of Serie A's best in the winter transfer window.
Colombian international Juan Cuadrado has been on the radar of the Blues for some time, and Sky Sports Italia claims that the West London outfit have accepted to pay a fee of around £27.5m for the Fiorentina winger.
La Viola had initially suggested that they would not offload the 26-year-old before the transfer deadline, but it is now believed that a transfer could be stuck following the Blues' willingness to pay to trigger the player's release.
Chelsea are currently top of the Premier League with 52 points.
