West Ham scouting Opa Nguette
West Ham are understood to have been in contact with Ligue 1 side Valenciennes regarding striker Opa Nguette. The 20-year-old forward is one of the brightest attacking prospects in the French top flight.
The Hammers are reportedly set to sell Enner Valencia to Chelsea today and are considering the signing of Nguette as a replacement for the Ecuadorian striker.
Nguette has only recently forced his way into Valenciennes' first team on a regular basis and has played in 15 Ligue 1 games this season, scoring 4 goals during that time.
The French club have quoted West Ham a fee of 5 million euros for the 5 foot 11 forward.
