West Ham table offer for Emmanuel Adebayor

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is wanted by West Ham. The Hammers could sell Enner Valencia to Chelsea this evening and Adebayor has been mentioned as a potential replacement.

The Togo international has been told that his career at White Hart Lane is over and numerous other Premier League sides have shown some interest.

Stoke City and QPR were believed to be favourites to snap up Adebayor, but now the Hammers are now in pole position.

Adebayor will take the short trip from North to East London for talks this afternoon ahead of a six month loan move to Upton Park.
