Chelsea sign Juan Cuadrado

Chelsea have successfully completed the signing of Juan Cuadrado for an initial fee of £23.3m.

The Colombian winger was expected to join the Blues on transfer deadline day, following the departure of Andre Schurrle to German side Wolfsburg.

It has now been confirmed that the 26-year-old has joined the Premier League toppers on a four-and-a-half-year deal for a fee which could rise to £26.8m.

The deal also sees Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah move to Fiorentina on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Cuadrado revealed his delight at signing for the Blues, He said : "I am very happy and thankful for this opportunity I've been given. This is a great club and honestly it is like a dream to join the Chelsea family and to know that the manager believes in me. I'm happy."

The talented winger scored 20 goals in 85 games for La Viola.
