Everton weigh up Nani loan move

Everton are considering a move for Portuguese winger Nani, who is currently on loan from Man Utd at Sporting Lisbon. Roberto Martinez is said to be looking for further attacking input for the remainder of the season.

Nani has been on loan back in his homeland of Portugal and has shown flashes of the brilliance that persuaded former Man Utd coach Sir Alex Ferguson to drop 20 million euros on the forward. Everton have struggled offensively this season and are said to have been in contact with United regarding the possibility of Nani ending his loan spell at Sporting early. Everton snapped up Aaron Lennon before transfer deadline day closed and are said to be looking to sign at least one more player for next season as well.
