Winston Reid to sign new West Ham United deal

New Zealand international Winston Reid is reportedly closing in on a new contract at West Ham United.

The talented centre-back has been in top form for the Hammers this season, and was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal during the winter transfer window.

However, The Mail claims that Reid has been convinced to remain at the East London outfit by the club's form and is ready to discuss terms on a much-improved contract offer.

Reid joined the Hammers from FC Midtjylland in 2010.
