Premier League trio in for James McCarthy?

Everton midfielder James McCarthy is considered as a top transfer target for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, according to a report.

The Republic of Ireland international joined the Toffees from Championship strugglers Wigan Athletic over the summer, and has since then been a regular in the first-team.

However, with Everton looking almost unlikely to earn a place in Europe next season, McCarthy could head out of Goodison Park at the end of the season.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners, Red Devils and Spurs are ready to fight it out to land the midfielder's signature during the summer transfer window.
