Stephan El Shaarawy welcomes Arsenal interest

AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy has revealed his pleasure at being linked with a summer move to Arsenal.

The Italian international has been on the radar of the Gunners in recent years.

However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has yet to give the green light to place a bid for the player's services.

Shaarawy has now admitted that he is gratified by Arsenal's interest, leading to the hint that he could be open to a switch to the Emirates this summer.

"I am gratified by Arsenal's interest, certainly, but my objective is to come back for Milan and do well at Milan," He told reporters.
