Chelsea plan record-bid for Gareth Bale

Chelsea will reportedly make a 72.3m bid to land the signature of Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer.

However, Bale has struggled to replicate his form this season, and his blunders on goal could force him to seek fresh pastures elsewhere.

It is now understood that the Blues boss Jose Mourinho wants his former player at Stamford Bridge, and is ready to make a summer offer worth 72.3m to sign up the former Spurs star.
