Arsenal line up Stephan El Shaarawy

Arsenal are planning a summer move for AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy, according to a report.

The Italy international was linked with a switch to Arsenal two seasons ago, until the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger opted to sign French striker Oliver Giroud instead.

According to Metro, the 22-year-old is seeking a fresh challenge away from San Siro, and Arsenal are regarded as front runners to land the player's signature.

The report adds that the talented striker would cost a fee of around £18.1m this summer.
