Arsenal to move for Asier Illarramendi?
Arsenal could launch a summer bid for Real Madrid's out-of-favour midfielder Asier Illarramendi, according to a Spanish source.
The Spanish midfielder joined Los Blancos from Real Sociedad in 2013, and has since then found first-team chances hard to come by.
According to Spanish daily Marca, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will look to sign a new holding midfielder this summer, in spite of having Francis Coquelin in his ranks.
The report adds that the North London giants are front-runners to sign the 25-year-old on a £28.9m deal this summer.
Arsenal are currently second in the league standings.
