Arsenal confident of signing Petr Cech

Arsenal are believed to be confident of landing the signature of Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer, The Mail reports.

The Gunners have been recently rumoured to be readying a formal approach for the Czech international.

According to The Mail, the North London giants are certain that the former Rennes man will switch to the Emirates at the end of the season.

Cech has failed to find his way back in the first-team this term, with manager Jose Mourinho favouring Belgian sensation Thibaut Courtois ahead of him for the number one role.
