Inter Milan target Skrtel

Inter Milan are confident of luring Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel to the Serie A this summer, according to an Italian source.

The Slovakian international has been a key member for the Reds this season, but has yet to agree to a contract extension to his existing deal, which expires at the end of next season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are lining up a move for the talented centre-back, as manager Roberto Mancini aims to bolster his defensive department for the next campaign.

Skrtel has made 45 appearances for the Reds this season.
