Southampton ready Austin bid

Southampton look firm favourites to sign up Queen Park Rangers star Charlie Austin in the summer.

It is well known that the former England Under-21 international will consider a summer move away from the Hoops, following their relegation from the Premier League.

According to The Express, the Saints are regarded as front-runners to sign up the talented marksman at the end of the season.

A fee in the region of £10m is likely to be enough to lure QPR into letting go of their star asset.
