Tottenham Hotspur close to Jackson Martinez deal

Tottenham Hotspur are inching closer to a summer deal for FC Porto striker Jackson Martinez.

The Colombian international was linked with a move to the Premier League last summer, with Arsenal keen on his services.

The Metro now claims that Spurs lead the queue to sign up the 28-year-old, who has been prolific in front of goal for Porto in recent seasons.

Martinez has notched up 28 goals in 37 games for FC Porto this season.
