STAR KEEPER to request Arsenal transfer

Arsenal look likely to seal their first signing of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech had earlier revealed his intention of leaving the club, having played second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois for the number one role in the recently concluded Premier League season.

It is now widely reported that the Czech international will make it clear to the Blues that he wants to move to London rivals Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Cech has made 494 appearances for the West London giants since his move from Rennes in 2004.
