Man Utd back in for Ron Vlaar

Ron Vlaar looks set to complete a transfer to Man Utd before the end of the summer transfer window. The Old Trafford giants are set to table a bid for the Dutch defender.

United boss Louis van Gaal is a huge fan of Vlaar and wants to bring the centre back in from Aston Villa to shore up a shaky defence for next season. The 30-year-old is said to be keen to make a move to a bigger club and could almost double his salary with a move to United. Vlaar is also being tracked by Italian side Roma.
