Hazard wants Benteke to join him at Chelsea

Premier League player of the year Eden Hazard wants his fellow countryman Christian Benteke to quit Aston Villa and move to Chelsea. Benteke is said to be considering a move away from Villa Park.

Hazard and Benteke regularly link up together on the international stage for Belgium and now former Lille forward Eden wants to see the burly striker join him at Stamford Bridge.

"If Christian signs with us, I would be the happiest man in the world. I have a great relationship with him and would like nothing better than to play with him," Hazard told Belgian news reporters.

"Christian is 24 so he is at an age where he has to make a good career choice. Not that Aston Villa is a small club but he can now play in the Champions League."
