Crystal Palace monitoring Andrea Bertolacci

Genoa midfielder Andrea Bertolacci is a transfer target for Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew. The Italian international, who has represented the Azzurri twice since his debut in 2014, had an impressive season and managed eight assists throughout the campaign.

Alan Pardew sent his top scout to watch the 24-year-old former Roma midfielder in action and the Eagles are to open talks with Genoa regarding a potential transfer move for the player, who has two years remaining on his contract with the Genovese. 

Palace are confident that a deal can be agreed; the Premier League side will have to compete with Fiorentina and German side Wolfsburg for his signature. Bertolacci is valued at around 12 million euros.
