FRENCH STAR not joining Man Utd

Manchester United have been given a dent in their pursuit of one of France's best strikers.

It had earlier been claimed that the Red Devils may finally land the signature of Karim Benzema from Real Madrid this summer, with the former La Liga champions keen on bringing in a young striker onboard for next season.

However, his agent Karim Djaziri has rubbished the claims by insisting that his client is content with life at the Bernabeu, and he has not spoken to any Premier League club regarding a summer move.

Benzema joined Real Madrid from Lyon in the summer of 2009.
