West Ham United sign Patrick Obiang

West Ham United have successfully completed the signing of midfielder Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria.

The former Spain Under-21 international is udnerstood to have joined the Hammers on an undisclosed fee.

Obiang becomes the Hammers' second summer signing following the arrival of goalkeeper Darren Randolph from Birminghan City.

"I'm very happy to have signed. We have been talking about this for a long time and now I've finally got the chance to come here," he told the club's official website. 

The talented midfielder scored three goals in 34 games for Sampdoria last season.
