Chelsea keen on Asmir Begovic

Chelsea will look to wrap up the signature of Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, should Petr Cech opt to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Cech had stated of his desire to make way from the Blues in the upcoming transfer window, with Arsenal favourites to land his signature.

Reports now claim that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will opt to sign a top-class back-up to Courtois for next season, if Cech decides to call quits on his Blues career.

Begovic is considered as the club's top target, but it is yet to be known whether the Bosnian international would favour a second fiddle role for the upcoming campaign.
