Arsenal plan audacious bid for REAL MADRID STAR

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will look to make a mega offer for the club's long-term target.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been linked with a move to the Emirates since his days with Ligue 1 side Lyon.

Reports in France cite that Wenger will make an offer of around £35m to lure Los Blancos into the player's sale this summer.

Benzema is not regarded as a fans' favourite and could be offload this summer, with the club's hierarchy in search of a new young striker.

It is also understood that Wenger is confident that the arrival of Benzema could help Olivier Giroud in having a good co-ordination given their international exploits.
