Andros Townsend keen on Spurs stay

Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend is ready to fight for his place in the first-team next season, amidst speculation of a summer move away from White Hart Lane.

The England international is one among the top names expected to be offloaded this summer, as Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino plans to make shift his attack options.

However, Townsend does not want to leave the North London outfit despite being linked with a move to Aston Villa recently.

Spurs finished fifth in the recently concluded Premier League season.
