Arsenal offer new deal to Jack Wilshere

Arsenal have offered a new contract to England midfielder Jack Wilshere. The player is a target for Premier League rivals Man City.

Reports last week suggested that City are to offer approximately 36 million GBP for the central midfielder as they look to fill their home grown player quota for the upcoming new season. However, Arsenal have stringently denied that Wilshere will be on his way out of the Emirates and are understood to have offered a brand new deal for the player instead.
