Liverpool boss hoping to sign Kovacic

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is hopeful that the club can seal a deal for Inter Milan playmaker Mateo Kovacic this summer.

The Reds are expected to boost their midfield options for the summer, with Rodgers keen on competing for the Premier League title next season.

According to The Sun, Liverpool will look to make a bid in the region of £15m to tempt Inter into the sale of the Croatian international.

Chelsea have been previously linked with a move for the talented midfielder.
