Tottenham plan Adebayor-Benteke swap deal

Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to offer Emmanuel Adebayor in a deal to sign Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

The Belgian international has been tipped to leave Villa Park this summer, with Liverpool keen on landing his services.

However, Villa are unwilling to offload the talented marksman unless their asking price of £32m is met.

Reports now cite that Spurs will look to reduce the asking price by offering out-of-favour striker Adebayor in a deal to bring Benteke to White Hart Lane this summer.
