Arsenal's Lukas Podolski to undergo Galatasaray medical

Galatasaray have confirmed that they have reached an agreement to sign Arsenal outcast Lukas Podolski during this summer's transfer window.

The German international is expected to leave the Emirates this summer, with manager Arsene Wenger unwilling to guarantee regular first-team football to the World Cup winner.

Gala have now revealed that they have agree an undisclosed fee with the North London giants, and the player will have a medical at Istanbul Liv Hospital on Saturday.

Podolski spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan having failed to make his way into the first-team at Arsenal.
