West Ham United confident of permanent Carl Jenkinson deal

West Ham United are confident that they can secure the services of Carl Jenkinson from Arsenal on a permanent basis this summer.
The talented right-back was in good form for the Hammers on loan last season, and this had led to talks over a permanent deal this summer.
However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has iterated that Jenkinson still has a future at the Emirates and he will not leave the club on a permanent deal.
The Mirror now reports that the Hammers' hierarchy are confident of nabbing the player's signature beyond the summer of 2016.
Sunderland have also been linked with a loan move for the England international.
