Everton to renew Scott Dann pursuit?

Everton will make a summer offer for Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann this week, according to reports.

Dann has cemented himself as a regular at the Eagles since his move from Blackburn Rovers in 2014.

The Mail now cites that Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen on signing a new central defender, and will look to acquire the services of Dann for a fee in the region of £8m.

However, it is yet to be known whether Dann would be willing to compete with the likes of John Stones and Phil Jagielka for the central defensive role next season.
