Arsenal target Nabil Fekir signs long-term Lyon deal

France international Nabil Fekir has ended speculation over his future by signing a new five-year contract with Ligue 1 giants Lyon.

The talented midfielder had earlier insisted that he is a huge fan of the Gunners, and would only consider leaving Lyon for a switch to the Emirates.

However, with the vast array of midfield talent at the North London giants, Fekir is well aware that he would have to buy his time in the substitutes bench.

Reports in France cite that the highly-rated midfielder has committed his future to the Ligue 1 runners-up until the summer of 2019.

Fekir scored 13 goals in 34 league appearances for his club last season.
