Chelsea set to sign Asmir Begovic

Chelsea are in pole position to sign goalkeeper Asmir Begovic with Shay Given set to replace the Bosnian international at the Britannia Stadium.

The Potters are expected to complete the signing of Shay Given from Aston Villa in the next few hours.

According to The Express, the arrival of Given at Stoke will pave the way for Begovic to make his dream move to Stamford Bridge.

It is added that Begovic is content with a move to the West London giants even if he has to play as an understudy to Thibaut Courtois.
