Real Sociedad make Joel Campbell offer

La Liga side Real Sociedad have made a summer bid to sign up Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rican international has struggled to cement his place in the first-team at the Emirates, in spite of his exploits at the World Cup last summer.

Campbell was shipped out on loan to Villareal in the second half of last season, giving a clear indication that he does not feature in Arsene Wenger's plans for the future.

The Mirror claims that Sociedad have made a £6m bid for the 23-year-old, who is keen on making a fresh move in his career during the summer transfer window.
