Tottenham to move for Saido Berahino

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make a formal bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino next week, according to reports.

Berahino was constantly linked with a move to White Hart Lane last summer, despite Spurs not making any bid for his services.

However, The People claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to bring in the England Under-21 international this summer, with Emmanuel Adebayor likely to seal his transfer to Aston Villa.

The 21-year-old scored 20 goals for the Midlands outfit in all competitions last season.
