Everton's Luke Garbutt available on loan
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has revealed that he will listen to loan offers for highly-rated defender Luke Garbutt this summer.
The 22-year-old recently signed a five-year contract extension at the Toffees, in spite of the lack of first-team action.
Martinez has now insisted that the young full-back will play a key role in the club's setup in years to come, and a season-long loan will benefit his progress.
"The idea will be to send him on loan to get important experience. But it was very important that Luke wanted to stay at Everton, a place where he can fully develop his potential," he told reporters.
"As a club we're looking forward to seeing his best years, once he's had that year away. At the moment we're very strong in that position but that doesn't stop us wanting to keep a very good left-back with incredible future."
