Liverpool firm favourites to sign Lucas Digne

Liverpool are expected to clinch the services of Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne this summer.

The 22-year-old is thought to have requested a move away from Les Parisiens during the current transfer window.

Liverpool Echo cites that Brendan Rodgers is keen to shore up his defensive setup, and will look to seal a summer deal for the France international.

Digne is believed to have the ability to ply his trade at either left-back or left midfield, and his versatility could prove vital for the Merseysiders next season.
