Lassana Diarra joins Marseille
France international Lassana Diarra has joined Ligue 1 side Marseille on a free transfer.
The former Real Madrid midfielder had been in a dispute with former club Lokomotiv Moscow over his wages, and this forced him to take a one-year lay off from the game.
It is now widely reported that the midfield enforcer has agreed to join Marseille on a Bosman fee.
Diarra, who has won 28 caps for his national side, plyed his trade in the Premier League with Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth before making his way to Real Madrid in 2008.
