Everton reject second Chelsea bid for John Stones

Everton have reportedly rebuffed a second offer from Chelsea for defender John Stones.

The Premier League champions were believed to have had an initial bid of £20m for the England international knocked back by Everton over the past month.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues have come up with a renewed offer in the region of £26m, which has been swiftly rejected by the Merseyside outfit.

It is added that Jose Mourinho's side will go back for the central defender with a third offer, but the Toffees are unlikely to settle for anything less than £34m.
