Chelsea to hold talks with Everton over John Stones

Chelsea are ready to smoothen their pursuit for defender John Stones by holding cruncn talks with Everton.

The Blues have had two bid of £20m and £26m knocked back by the Toffees over the past week, and it is thought that the Premier League holders will come up a third and final offer for the England international.

According to The Telegraph, Blues boss Mourinho has told the club's hierarchy to have negotiations with the Merseyside outfit, and finalize a transfer fee for the talented centre-back.

Everton currently rate Stones at around £34m.
