Arsenal readying bid for TOP STRIKER?

Arsenal are planning a summer swoop for one of Europe's finest goalscorers, according to reports.

The Gunners are expected to move for new recruits this summer, and have Poland international Robert Lewandowski as one of their top transfer targets.

According to Metro, the North London outfit could make a £35m bid for the Bayern frontman, should they fail in their pursuit of Karim Benzema.

Reports elsewhere claim that the Gunners are confident of landing the Frenchman's services for a fee in the region of £40m this summer.
